Ok so I wasn't really sure where to post this so I guess it will go here. So I've come to the point where I've done everything I wanted to do to my ranger but I'm itching to do something else. Especially now that I'm on Christmas break. So I'm asking you all for any ideas for the truck. so, any ideas? :icon_confused: :icon_idea:

Nice Truck!

That thing looks great. I wouldn't know what else to do either. Maybe look for some tinted headlights and tailights? Make it a Dark Knight. :headbang::icon_welder::dunno:

Maybe leveling-kit time, or whatever gets done to level a '97? Some semi-gloss black on the grille?

Nice looking truck as-is, though!

maybe a snorkel for some serious water time? hmm add turn signal mirrors? lift it higher?

I'm a tinted lens hater, but on your truck, smoked lens would actually look great... That and color matching the grill would be HUGE!! Go to the junkyard and pick up some lenses so you don't lose the good ones you've got in case you don't like the idea if you so decide to try it.

Hmmm... It looks like the consensus is to tint my lights. I'm on the fence with that one. I kinda like the splash of orange the marker lights give it. Although I do like killjoy's snorkel idea. although, i never go in any water. haha, what do you guys think about a spare tire carrier like on a BII?

Do you mean on my truck? Or the guy asking what to do next? Hahaha

It needs more lift to give clearance to that huge bull bar....man, that thing looks like it wants to plow the north 40, Bro....lol

plow the north 40? i'm afraid i don't quite get it. haha

Plow like what people do with tractors. North 40 is a geograpical referance to a plot of land usually relevant to where the farmhouse is.

It would look cool to have the bumper, the grill, and the corner trim all in gloss black to match the rest of the truck. Not saying it doesn't look good chrome; it looks great.

Other ideas:

Aftermarket headlights (projectors)
Wheels (maybe some Dick Cepek DC-2s?)
Led light strip under tailgate
Window tint

That's a tough one, it looks great the way it is...

Do you have real tow hooks on the front? How about a rear hitch/rear tow points?

I'm not a real big fan of the low hanging plow either...

Paint could always use a good cleaning/polishing/waxing. I recommend Meguiar's products, get the multi step system. Done well and taking your time this will burn up a couple days if you don't have a powered buffer.

Manual hub conversion.

Ah, now the joke makes sense. haha

I'm saving that massive project for when I have another vehicle. I would love to convert the truck to a v8 but that means essentially building a new truck. So I'm going to wait until I have the resources for that one.

I cleaned the paint and waxed it this summer. It took two days haha. I think I might put some spacers on the front coils. It already has leveling blocks in the back and the back sits up higher than the front (just look at the wheel wells). Is it a good idea just to put spacers in or should I put different coils in too?

I've also thought about getting tow hooks in the front. It doesn't have a hitch in the back but I never pull anything or have the need to. The bed does the job for me.

Thanks for all the input all. its greatly appreciated.
