any good "how to's" on painting a car, bumper, rims etc.?

i want to paint my bumper, grill and maybe some other interior stuff. i want to make sure its done right but i cant find a proper "how to". thanks.

also best type of paint to use would be nice also

i would be comfortable if i knew how to do the proper procedure without having to take it to a shop.

i would rather buy aftermarket parts then spend money on stock parts. this only temporary.
