any 5.0 parts work on a 4.0 ?

I was wondering if theres any 5.0L parts that could work on a 4.0L that might help it in some way. Only asking this because i got a 5.0L motor sitting around out of a debry car but the computer and harness is all screwed up. I thought i read some where that the injectors would work idk any advice besides putting a 5.0L in let me know. Also if anybodys interested in something its for sale that or going to scrap.

Put a carb on it, get some motor mounts, a good trans, and some headers. You'll be straight to set it right in.

I think the OP is asking if there are any parts that will swap over to the 4.0L from a 5.0L that will help or increase performance. The answer is basically no...

The injectors most likely are the same, 19lbs, if its stock. Even if they were bigger there would be no benefit, and would require a retune for the ecu to recompensate.

ok yup thats what i was wondering yellowsplash the motors pretty much shot and dont have the time or money to mess with now my 68 mustang pretty much gets all my time now thanks for the answers guys
