Antifreeze leak at the head gasket

Just got my first Explorer a couple months ago and its been a great little truck for me but now has a big coolant leak.
Took it to a friends house who has a garage and we found it is coming out between the head and block on the drivers side.
It is coming out from the back of the head and leaks out pretty fast.
There is also what appears to be residue of antifreeze and wet antifreeze on the side of the engine so the head gasket seems to have been leaking for a while.

It seems pretty straight forward to pull the intake then the head to replace the head gasket.
In reality I'm sure it's a lot of work but am I missing anything important?

Thanks
