i've been told the anti freeze needs to be replaced at 100k. I'm about to hit that and was just wondering what is speced for our trucks. What should I use?

Use Zerex G-05. Most Napas sell it. Using regular green would be a downgrade, and anything else is simply the wrong kind. IF you can't find G-05, go to the Ford dealer and get Motorcraft Gold. It's the same thing.

Howdy Temple. Since you live in such a warm climate you should use the pure antifreeze without any water added. The pure stuff won't rust the innards of your system and won't boil till over 400*.. Plus it will protect the engine from freezing till near zero. Even then it only gets sort of slushy and doesn't freeze hard.
Here in the Austin area I've been useing pure ethylene glycol for over 50 years. My coolant pumps simply don't fail! The pure stuff is a wonderful oily substance that keeps everything working. And it seems to last forever.. I've never changed any of it out.
