i have a '94 ranger with a 3.0 six.its leaking anti freeze and i've checked all obvious places.the leak is dripping down on the starter, and i was wondering if it could be a freeze plug, and if so,where are they and how difficult to replace??
thanks

Dripping down the starter? Yeah, that could be a core plug. It could also be a head gasket or (hopefully) a lower intake gasket leak. I've even seen leaks travel along the valve cover lip and drip somewhere else entirely. It's important to find where it's actually coming from.

Core plugs are very easy to replace with the engine on a stand. Knock the old one out, then tap the new one in. They are impossible to replace with the engine installed.
