antenna switch

I dont see why not.

Just take the male plug that goes from the stock antenna, and splice it on to the CB antenna.

it mayyyyyyy but FM broadcasting is put over 88.0-108.0MHz and a CB starts at 25.0 MHz.
CB ant are generally tuned to pick up really well at a middle of the road frec. and can be adjusted. but i dont know if one will pick up an FM transmition that high up in the frec range

ok just talked to my pops. who its a gov engineering nerd. and what i could make out isss,

your ant size kinda corresponds to the wave length your using. so you kinda want your ant to be around the half of the wave length. so what this means to you is your 4 foot fire stick wip is gonna be two long to be really good. he said it will work. and look cool. but its gonna lose sensitivity. so your gonna lose the station sonner. then if you had a "normal" one.

how ever i guess if you had a baby ant like 12inch or something it might work better.

hope this helps....my pops makes my brain hurt every time i ask a question.

they used to make little adapters that would use either a cb antenna for am/fm or an am/fm antenna for cb. not the best setup, but it works well enough for trail riding using the cb at close range. i have an old one in a box for an "emergency" whenever. you can still find them on ebay, electronics-cb radios, or do a search there for cb.
