Another Trans swap question 3.0 V6

I have a 95 3.0 V6 with 297xxx miles and the trans is going out for the 2ND time. After looking on here, my question is this would a 4R55E replace my 4R44E by:
A: changing the bell housing
B: Electronic's work with out a lot of work
C: Converter bolt to Flywheel

I know this might have been addressed before but can't find it

I dont have a replacement yet but am looking

isn't the only difference an extra gear? so you may just need a different driveshaft...

I'm about 65% sure that the bellhousing is part of the front pump assembly. Changing bellhousings might get complicated.
