Hey all,
Just came across the site here while googling some info on a truck I just acquired; 1994 Mazda B2300.
Back in the day (when this truck was new..lol) I used to swing a wrench for a living, until one day I was trying to pound a front brake rotor off a Kia Sportage 4x4. Swing, clunk, swing, clunk, swing POP! Something let go in the shoulder, and when I got it looked at, they said it was tendonitis...
Um...never heard of that presenting with an almost audible pop, but...whatever keeps ya from payin' worker's comp, right? 3 weeks later they laid me off (and a couple other guys in the shop).
I was in school again at the time for IT/helpdesk work (2003/4), and used this opportunity to make the career change. Been in the IT field since.
And I still can't throw a snowball more than 50 feet without redonkalous pain...
Anywho.... Just picked up this Mazda for 7 bills. 2.3L, 5 speed stick. Cutle lil' blue truck. Needs a few odds and sods to pass muster to get a sticker, one of them being a rotted off leaf spring shackle. I was googling looking for a youtube vid perhaps for R&R of the bed to get a stuff easier, and came across a thread here on it. More I read, the more it seemed like there might be some good folks here.
Think I'll stick around for a while.
I play a bit of guitar, but I've always kind of been better at fixin' them than playin' them... Here's a bit of a peek into who I am, in the transformation of my pride and joy;

It's mostly pics, and a fast read...
See ya 'round campus!
