New to TRS, but not to Rangers. I've owned 3 Rangers in the past:
1989 XLT, 2.9L V-6, 3.73, reg cab, long bed. Best 1/4 mi of 16.69 sec
1993 XLT 3.0L, SC
2001 Edge Plus, SC, 4.0L, 4x4
And had a Sonic Blue 2004 Lightning....I miss that truck...
I was a true blue Ford nut until my 2001 Explorer tranny went out (common issue) and didn't warranty it....bought a used Mountaineer tranny, and installed it myself and saved $3500 over what they wanted.
I retired from the USAF about 6 yrs ago....22yrs, 27 days. I've been a weldor since 1986, a vol FF/EMT-B for a couple of years in Texas, and recently graduated from the Colorado School of Trades Gunsmithing program (2013). My cardiologist recommended that I fully retire if I can, so I did
I am anxiously waiting for the 2019 Ranger....waiting sux !!!
