Hi everyone! I bought a 94 Ranger XLT, 2.3L 2WD last spring. Brakes didn't work when I got it but they do now! (The ABS Hydraulic Unit bleed valve was purging fluid)
I'm looking to get this truck back to as new, or better than new, as possible. I appreciate any tips and trick for restoration work.
Here's my list so far:
Front Suspension
-Bushings (Still trying to find a good list)
-Ball Joints
-Bearings (Replace if needed)
ABS Light on, no idea where to start.
Dash Swap
I think the B2300 should plug and play? I want stock looking RPM.
Clunking with starting and stopping.
-Suspect drive shaft clunk, needs lube?
Clicking when coasting slowly in neutral. -Suspect Throw out bearing?
-Throw out bearing
-Slave cylinder
-Clutch
-Fluid Flush (ATF I believe)?
Body and Frame
-Rust removal, paint and seal where necessary.
-Dent and ding fixes
-Possibly whole repaint?
