I am proud to say that I am getting a new side arm very very soon. I put a Smith & Wessen Sigma in lay away.

Laser is included.

so was there a distinct reason you went for the sigma and not say a carry 1911? i have a colt defender now for carry-on, but i used to have a 1911 with a ridiculous 13 inch nickel plated barrel, that was a side arm. not practical, and entirely too shiny, but my smaller 1911 target pistol was a dream, small, light, .40 cal. very decent. can honestly say i've never shot a stigma before now that i think of it....

I've shot a Sigma 9... It shoots good, I like the grip on it. I also shot an XD at the same time, and that damn grip safety feels goofy, some people can't feel it, but I sure as hell can.

Anyway, shot probably 300 rounds through the Sigma flawlessly, its a good gun.

Don't become dependent on the laser either... the only purpose a laser has is for quick point shooting if you get knocked on the ground or something and the attacker is <5-7yds...

I shot one of my buddy's S&W Sigma and it seemed nice. Felt pretty good for a handgun in that price range. He likes it a lot. Sould be a good like gun for ya!
