ok so i was messing with the wiring harness on my 86' b2 2.9 when out of nowhere a ground wire from the harness grabbed a hold of the motor and ended up frying the solenoid, after that happened i couldnt get any juice from the harness even after replacing the solenoid. i went to the nearest junkyard and had picked up another harness along with the computer and the ac wiring. i hooked up all the connections where they needed to be accept the ac, now when i try to turn the truck on nothing happens. as i turn the truck over i can hear the sensors clicking on but i get nothing from the starter, solenoid, or the alternator. anyone know what the deal is???

A GROUND wire touching the engine shouldn't cause a problem!! I'm wondering which wire you shorted.
I'd be looking for a fusable link or the solenoid wires being incorrectly replaced.
