What bolt pattern are they I haven't seen any that say that they are 5x 4.5 but i could be wrong, and also I can't even find these suckers. Is it really worth going to a junk yard to get one?

the bolt pattern is 5x 4.5
same as jeep tj n yj and some others
what are you looking for?
a dana 35?

Front or back?

yes, it'll be worth putting in place of your D28. they'll handle the 33's much better. you dont wanna be stuck in the woods or in a giant mudhole if the D28 decides to blow up on you.

Im looking for a ttb dana 35 front axle. But I can.t find them exept for the junkyards.

Well, no one makes them new anymore...

Junkyard, or find someone parting out a vehicle (Craigslist, etc.).

what's wrong with getting one from a junkyard?

you can check the classifieds on here. there's always people parting out vehicles.

There's nothing wromg from getting one from a jy I was just sayin that I have tried craigslist in my area and can't find any! As far as part outs the people usually keep the d35 for themselves. I just dont know ifif payin 150 is really worth it.

There was another thread yesterday where someone was asking about an ad on c.l. The seller was asking $250.00 for cut and turn d-35 beams plus $200.00 core charge. $450.00 for stronger than new.

i saw that, pretty sweet deal if you ask me. only thing is, they need a core from you. you send them $250 and your stock beams and they send you a set of cut and turned beams. if you dont have a stock set, it'll be quite a bit more.

It might be a dumb question but what is a cut and turn? And what does it do?

it's where you cut the front axle beams, then angle and reinforce them to achieve lift. you use the factory drop brackets instead of lift drop backets that can bend and break whilst wheeling.

$150 is a good price for a TTB D35 from a JY. Just be sure that if youi do get one that you look at your choices there and pick which one looks best and what not.

What do I look for when I go and look at them? Are tgere vital spots I need to look for?
