I have an 88 ranger that i pulled the motor out of about 3 months ago. I have a used motor coming this weekend my only concern is that when the motor was out i had to move the truck. Is it possible that there is some kind of a part insided the trans that can come out of place if the truck is moved without the motor in it?? If so how difficult is it to get back in place? any help is greatly appreciated. it is 4x4 the motor is the 2.9 v6 and the trans is the a4ld

Thanks

The torque converter might have moved out from the pump when you pushed the truck around. If it's installed correctly, it should touch or almost touch the pump bolts as you spin it.
