Another “What is this plug for?”


If you want to pull out the Climate control panel you can cut one of the 2 Jumper wires that activate AC when in Defrost mode
Or un-pin it from connector, put tape on the pin

Below is a 1991 but was the same up thru 1994 with the Slider switch style Climate Control panels
I dived in to see what I could see. Hoping it was an accessible switch. I loosened the climate control panel and found this.

That’s the switch that activated the a/c circuit when defrost is on. It has 1 screw and a dowel . So rather than cut anything, in case a/c gets repaired in the future, I took the screw off and moved it so the screw is in the dowel hole. It moves the switch out of the way so no contact is made with the slide that activates it. Game back on gang.
