Android OS forum

[User Name missing]

Anybody know of a good Android OS forum? I can google hundreds of them, but I would like to hear personal opinions. I recently purchased a Droid 2, luv it, but have questions with many more to follow. My wifes LG Ally hates me.

This is the one I hang out in AndroidForums.com. Just about any are good just like any good forum be sure to use the SEARCH button before posting or they will flame you pretty bad over there.

I use many of the phone specific forums. I have been a tester for Verizon for almost 2 years now. I love anything android. Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have. I currently have the Thunderbolt but should be getting a Bionic within the next month.

Tester? howd you get into that? The girl I just split up with had the LG vortex, it was pretty kool. Hatman has the Samsung mezmerize I believe, and its nice too. Itl just get better with time. Get an app killer though. Your android runs apps in thebackground like windows and app killer will close any non used apps to reserve performance.

I've been a loyal Verizon customer for 17 years. A couple years ago they sent me some surveys to fill out. I did and about 6 months later I got a phone call from them asking if I was interested in doing "real world testing". They asked what kind of phones I was interested in and I told them I had been using various smart phones since they were introduced. The first phone I got was the blackberry storm and I get one about every 5-6 months. I use it and then complete a survey about the phone. Sometimes I have to send the phone back, sometimes I get to keep it. Dont know how long I will get to do it but its been a couple years now. The storm was the only non-android phone I've tested.

HTC Incredible is the best phone out right now.

I have an incredible. About to be the third one within a year because the stupid outside speaker keeps blowing. Mine and two other people I know have the same problem. Other than that it seems to be a great phone although I wouldn't call it the best one out there.

My vote's for forum.androidcentral.com or androidforums.com.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S. Not bad at all!
Definitely get the bar scanner app, beautiful weather and launcher pro.

Launcher pro allows you to do custom home bars and Beautiful weather is just a pretty weather app. Of course, the scanner is used for android apps and scanning things in the store (to see if its cheaper online or something)

For all your android needs. I use www.androidforums.com once in a while, but i like the format/layout of xda way better. It is also how i learned to root my phone.

+1 on xda-developers.com, thats where my brother goes and they have damn near everything, and a huge community.

I have a samsung moment and for some reason xda doesnt have my phone so i go to sdx-developers.com for all my needs.
