Interesting idea, sucks that theres no low range though.
 
When I first started reading your thread, I thought it was going to be about that one with the two drve axles in the rear. That's another odd ball but the one with two in the front is really wild.

Tom would do it front and rear with the ability to choose any combination of wheels to rotate in any direction at any time.

And if tom wouldn't do it that way, i would.
 
I don't see that being nearly as effective as a center diff.

look at the execution verse chassis height verse floor fitment mods.





way cool for the time and effective to a point.
 
I'm not saying that it looks ineffective. I'm looking at it like a CVT. It does what it was designed for well, but for the parts and engineering involved, not nearly the most efficient method of accomplishing the end goal.
 
I got to agree with Bobby on this one. And we can't be sure Tom hasn't already done it and has the designs locked up in some beverage filled vault somewhere:D
