And I thought running with 24 inch wheels with spinners looked rediculous...

I guess from a purely aesthetic point of view one could give props for extreme customization. I mean, that stuff sure didn't roll off an assembly line looking like that. I'm frequently impressed with the mods I see done by TRS members, and the technical, fabrication, and mechanical talents involved. So in that respect, hats off to the crazy Japanese cars and their builders.

On the other hand, most of the mods I've seen on TRS have some practical use and contribute to the capabilities of the vehicle. Those Japanese cars...not so much. Crazy Asians...

I wonder what they think of the rat rods that have become so popular here...

I wonder at what length of exhaust tube the exhaust decides to turn around and go back~!

That far up in clean air they probably get a draft at speed like a chimney. :icon_twisted:

That style is a "Big Deal" in Japan. There are thousands of them and many make the lead picture look like a mild custom.

Hmm...decorative L-S-D racers...someone has too much time on their hands.

Well.... I guess it's all about preference but I personally don't care for ricers and the only thing I can think to call these would be ricer 2.0 so.... I'm not a fan.

That being said, I can always appreciate a good fab job on a car no matter what. There's one example of this that I see at a car show every year.

Every aspect of this car was thoroughly thought through and executed quite smoothly but still... why God why?!

ricers

Dont mind the ricer part, but the fit of the custon parts are the worst I have ever seen, big gaps some dont even come close to the body contours
