alternator up grade

well my alternator is starting to take a shit. i was going to up grade it but im not sure what year explorer to get one from that will bolt up. so any help would be great thanks

i would pull one off a 94 explorer.
If you are looking for a reman find a good starter/alt shop and get one there.
i got one for 100 from a local starter/alt re-builder, tons of help and info too.
