engine is in, aod is in, driveshaft is cut, still have to do the wiring, 1990 2.3 wiring, working on grafting in a duraspark.

points of interest
clearance issues with oil pan and bell tech drop kit
no clearance problems at all with floor pan
super duty radiator has 1/2" clearance to waterpump with v belt setup
no problems at all with steering shaft
installed a pmgr starter
tranny dipstick was a major problem, had to rebend it, I dont like it I'll be changing that in the future to a lokar flexible dipstick.

I've got some pictures as soon as I figure out how to attach them I will.

any sugestions on wiring would be greatly appreciated.:yahoo:

Get a photobucket account, upload your pictures to there then copy the IMG code and paste it to here and you should be good.

Be sure to push the enter button after each picture or they will all be going to the right and that gets annoying to have to side scroll.

All you need for the duraspark is key on hot, and key on start. What coil are you using will determine if you need a resistor but you ignition switch has only one key on start so it is recommended you use a coil that runs on battery voltage. Run the key on hot to the red wire on the module 2 wire connector and to the coil +. The key on start you can pull it from the start solenoid key on start wire and run it to the white wire on the module 2 wire connector, that will retard the timing for a quick start. For the dizzy you have a 3 wire connector the black is ground from the dizzy to the module you can tie a chassis ground into that circuit. the other two wires are for the pickup coil color coding is not necessary. The green wire from the module goes to the coil -. I got my harness from the module to the dizzy from a 84 4 cyl ranger you can also get the two wire connector from the same vehicle and make it plug and play. GL
