These are Mr Gasket coil spacers you cut to fit? What do you think about them? Do you think they will do until I get longer springs?

Those are rubber or a poly spacer. Stay away, they'll just break down in no time.

you can find steel coil spacers on ebay usually. and think about it if you can cut those ^ ones do you think they will hold up to the weight of your front end. They also have aluminum ones but i've heard they are crap too

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I just going to go to the JY and get some F150 springs and then get some longer shocks and be done with it!

What is the best cheapest coil springs to lift up my truck about 2" inches? I'm thinking about just going to the JY and getting F150 springs. Are there any particular years I need to get? I have a 83 ranger 4x4. Thanks

i think any ttb coil sprung f150 from 1980-1996' would work but i could be wrong. either way stay away from rubber/poly spring spacers. if your gona do it, get the steelies.

I bought those spacers for my truck to combat the sagging of the stock front springs. They thread into the coil and do not provide any more lift than what the spring was originally designed for. They seemed to stiffen up my last few inches of compression to prevent bottoming out so easy. But I have had them for a year and they are definitely not as strong as they once were. These things are just a temporary fix for sagging springs, not really a source of lift though.

Yeah, I'm going with f150 springs! Anybody got any they want to sell at a good price?

Found some for 50. I'm going tomorrow to take them off. There off an 04, will they fit?
I figured I would take my old ones just to check them.

Explorer front coils provide 2" of lift as long as they're not sagged out.

Not sure about actual F-150 coils.

F-150 spring perches work, for a 2wd.

I'm just gonna get the F150 springs to give it a stiffer ride also I plan on putting a 289 in it so that will give me a boost on that. What about 4x4 f150 spring perches?

where can i find out if 04 4x4 springs will fit my 83 4x4?

Well I guess that makes sense then, lol.

4x4 F-150 spring perches look different, I was looking at mine yesterday, looks like they might only do an inch of lift

04 springs will not work, You would be looking for springs from an 80-96 f150 but if all you are looking for is a little bit of extra lift then maybe you could look for some ranger stx highrider springs or some h/d stock replacements, which can be had for under 70 bucks brand new.

I've got a 93 2wd with a two inch leveling kit off of ebay. They're made of Delrin? I've put them through hell and no problems. Only cost 50 bucks
