The only thing different is the one made for auto has the trans cooler in it, it will still work.

I had to change my rad last year and I specifically asked for one for an automatic transmission...mine is a 5 speed but I thought I might swap in an auto (when I do the turbo upgrade some day) so I got one that would work in that case.

If i have to change mine, I am thinking about using the Trans cooler as an engine oil cooler. Especially with the engine build I will be doing this spring.

My new radiator works great it is bigger than the original and my truck runs cooler than before

That's good to hear...the heads are very prone to cracking when over heated...I hope you replaced all the hoses while you were at it...

You probably don't have to worry too much about cab heat where you are so running cooler is a bonus...:icon_thumby:
