all 4.0L exhaust systems sound like poop

Has anyone ever had custom exhaust made similar to what I am thinking, 2.25 true duals with some factory mufflers that have a 2.25 intlet and outlet

so you want to change a stock exhaust with factory mufflers with dual with factory mufflers. that seems to be a waste of money to me.

I got a 2.25 Thrush welded exiting before the rear wheel and it doesn't sound too bad...it's not gonna ever be a v8...lol

True duals on a V6 will reduce torque, especially with 2.25 inch pipes. I don't think there will be an improvement in sound either, especially with stock mufflers.

I like the sound of a V6 unless it is really loud. It will never sound like a V8 because it is not one. A V8 will never sound like a V10 or V12 either. I have to admit though I do prefer the sound of a nice V8 with dual exhaust. Even a V8 with dual exhaust has better power with some kind of a cross over pipe.
