alignment bushing II

Was just reading the thread on the alignment bushing - did top & bottom joints on drivers side last weekend. Haynes sez to mark the bushing & replace in same position but I only saw one possible way it could go as it had a notch on the bushing & a tab on the knuckle.

How is camber adjustment made if it only fits in a fixed position ? Does the alignment shop use different bushings to get positive or negative camber ? Even with the new ball joints my tire still seems to lean out at the top a bit.
 
Yes. You have to get adjustable bushings. Napa carryies them in stock for around 70 for the two. Stock ones cannot be adjusted
