Two questions on a 88 Eddie Bauer B2 that I was wondering if anyone could help with.
1) the transmision shift linkage is missing the keeper sleeve that keeps the linkage on the shifting backet. is there a way to get one of those or do I just maybe drill a hole in it and put a cotter pin on something like that??
2) before I got this rig the previous owner had put a 3" body lift on her. The shifting lever binds when trying to shift to 4x4 and if I crawl under and remove the bolt that holds all the linkage together at the T-case it will shift just fine into 4x4. question is do I make some kind of extension to keep it from binding up? and if so, do you have a picture of something that works? that would be awesome.
thanks in advance for the help.
