well... after a good days shooting my brother set a bullet on my dash (i dont know why). me not thinkin twice about it kept drving on the dirt road. after about 10 seconds of driving the bullet rolled right into my front window defrost vent :annoyed:. after driving around with it in there for a few days i guess it rolled into a vent flap..... now air ONLY blows out of that vent. since bullets arent magnetic does anybody got an idea on how to get that out? i was thinking a good hard desert rompin would shake it out to the floor vent :icon_confused:.

i was alittle scared of it blowing up at first but after seeing the "bullets in a campfire" myth on mythbuster i feel ok with it being in there as long as it doesnt mess with my vents.

its not that hard. just take your time and try not to get agressive. my old rangers dash has a sheetrock skrew to hole the trim pice on beacuse i took it apart to get french fries outta the vents:icon_rofl:

how long did it take? it sounds like an all day thing

um if the ak is 7.62x39 chances are he's shooting surplus militaryy ammo. That should be steel cased and in that case should be magnetic and the primer is magnetic. i also think the lead in the bullet is magnetic but cant remember

I don't think is gonna fall out, I pulled my whole dash apart last week to change my heater core and I found the ciggy lighter and the socket thats suppose to be in the radio bezel trapt inside the heater box. Ive had the truck for 8 months and it never fell out so...

Oh and pulling the dash and heater box out isn't hard, it just takes a few hrs
