Just a quick question on removing the baffle.. Do you remove the whole tube piece or is there just something restricting inside that tube piece that you remove ? Some one on here submitted to the tech forum but it wasn't explained to well. (Sorry no offense). Any input is appreciate..

Thanks in advance.

yep my bad lol!:icon_twisted: i know i didnt explain it too good, yeah u have to remove the hole tube, and best if u remove the rubber box to, the one at the back of the headlight, try it that way, and then if u like try the rubber back on, and see if it changes in something
please post here your testings and stuff

Yeah, I ripped the whole tube out of the box, and the rubber box honduras is talking about. And btw I still havent found the article in the tech section about the baffle removal. I want to check what you put up. Haha. JK.

Thanks for the replies.. Sorry Honduras you were the one I remember.. nice pics but didnt explain it too much.. I will look for a rubber piece behind the head light. I am kinda buzzed from drinking but it sounds like a fun project right now.. I think I will try it.. Maybe drop a K&N too for added sounds but i dont know about spending $50 an an air filter.. Thanks guys !!!! :icon_thumby:

You may say it's not worth it. But, when I put mine in with the baffle removal I gained to 2 mpgs in regular city driving. That's worth it to me. I am currently getting 18.8 mpg in the city with 4.10 gears, and it sounds fantastic when I punch it. Worth it?

There have been too many threads where one person defends K&N and the other bashes them, so I'm not going to start, you can believe what you want, as I can also... If you think you got 2 extra mpg, that's great...

Okay I removed the baffle via saws all inside the box and removed the rubber piece next to the healight... not sure i can hear it sound wise il have drive it to see but im keeping the stock setup as i know box off with a cone adds sounds I just wana see if I can tell.. thanks for headsup on removal the baffle. Ill keep yall updated..

yeah its not a loud sound, it come when u gas the engin a little humming not too loud, for me thats just enough, quiet when driving normal, and when its time to scare sme shitty car then the hummer comes on lol!
