Airbag replacement

My 2000 2WD 5spd ranger was involved in a front end collision that deployed both airbags. There is no frame damage and body damage is minimal. I will be fixing the truck myself and need some information regarding the airbag system.

I plan on replacing:
both airbags,
airbag computer
sensors
clock spring

Hopefully someone that has done this before can tell me the location of the sensors and computer as well as anything special I should know or procedures I need to follow. Thanks.

Sensors are up under the front bumper, the module I think is behind the dash.

If the bags are already deployed there isn't much danger until you go to plug them in.

I'm not entirely sure where the sensors are located...

I pulled sensors off a junkyard Ranger once and they were mounted on the core support.

I'm not sure that the computer would have to be replaced, but I don't really know. I think the computer is on the transmission hump up under the dash behind some plastic trim.

+1 for being more specific about the location of the RCM. It is near the trans tunnel. But you are supposed to replace all sensors, the clock, and the module after an air bag deploying event. That's why so many vehicles get totalled out after the air bags go off.
