Does anyone have them installed? I bought a set on ebay for 24$, nothing fancy..just something to toy with. Anyone have any setups that i could see?

old skool aaaoooggaaa horn here. had a cheapo HF dual air horn setup. was horrible. sounded like an old girlfriend farting under my hood. got rid of it asap and switched back to the aaaooogga.

if a guy put a REAL airhorn on, it would be pretty sweet. I hooked a buddy up with a air horn and a 10 gallon tank for his b2. came out pretty good, but we ran 1/4in nylon braided line, and we needed to run 3/8 for more air flow...

IIRC, HolyFord is running on-board-air and a true air horn. Said it worked great once he figured out how much pressure it needed to sound right.

I've often thought of adding one to something or other of mine. You can lean on the horn button around here and the idiots still ignore you. Figure on maybe trying a few more decibels before I call it a lost cause, lol.

Air horns on a Ranger??????

HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Air horns don't belong on anything smaller than a class 7 truck!!!!

A guy I used to work with at the dealership had an early '90's chevy pickup...heavily modded. He went out and pulled horns from 2 separate vintage cars. Can't remember what notes they were, but when he leaned on the horn, it sounded like a freight train! It was too much fun watching other drivers looking around for the crossing signals.:idiot:

I've got 'em. it's a 125psi 4 trumpet setup. I've got a 2 gallon tank in my bed, the horns are mounted under my bed, and the trigger is where my 12 volt used to be in my radio bezel.

Don't forget to check the local laws on this. That are illegal in a lot of places. Around here people will throw a rock at you if you blow one in traffic....lol

I've got them. 3 16" trumpets at 150 psi are loud enough to scare a train.

i got a dual 14" international dumptruck air horn with a 7 gal air pig in my tool box 3/8 air lines run to the horns behind the grill, run it at 120 psi it sure gets people to move outta the way an scare people.

I've been wanting to get some for all these left-lane campers that come from New Jersey and Connecticut. Making me take an extra 20 minutes to get home.

They do work quite well for getting people to move, They tend to "squack" above 145 psi though. I recently acquired another set, I have to figure out a good place to mount them. They are more for entertainment value than anything, most of the time my compressor is off and depressurized, they are not my normal horn, I still have the factory one for that.
