im in need of a trick to modify my filter housing.
mechanic put his fist or knee through the top of my stock air filter housing (the important side).

I need to figure a way that i can delete it completely, but still have that air switch to work on the upper side of the filter housing lid.

Would like a K&N filter, but with that electronic air flow switch/regulator im confused as to what all i can do. i unhook it and open the smaller tube and the truck engine races.

So what you are saying is your dumbass grease monkey screwed up your air box and now you aren't sure how to put an aftermarket unit on because you aren't sure what to do with the IAC.

Best bet is to get a JY unit that isn't broken.

Yeah, the arrangement of the air system on those TBI 2.3Ls makes them very hard to modify.

awsome, dude that broke it told me to "use duct tape, that should work."

i said how bout replacing it, he hasnt called me back.
