I’m panting a few interior pieces one of witch is passenger air bag cover plate can I remove it or is it part of the air bag assembly? If I comes down to I can pant it in the truck but that be a pain in the ass and I rather not. this is on a 99 ranger

Hey man, just painted my dash too. To take out the air bag assembly, remove the glove box, and you will see some bolts right above it. Remove those, and as you pull the assembly out, disconnect the power to the air bag. But, make sure you disconnect the battery first. If you need any advice on how to paint these pieces, and what the right paint to use is, feel free to email me at ShiftRacing@YMail.Com. Good luck man.
