Air Bag Code

Hey all I have a 2006 ranger with an air bag code 46 some people tell me its the plug under the seat and others tell me its the air bag controler modual. and ive tried cleaning the plug but the code is still there any one got any other ideas. Thanks

The flash codes aren't specific enough. All that one tells you is the resistance for the driver's pre-tensioner circuit is out of spec, either high or low. The 4 digit B-codes stored in the module will be needed to differentiate and say which one it is.

Time to go get codes pulled.
