I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have an 05 Ranger FX4 Level 2 with the pioneer sound system (NOT Tremor.) I want to replace the factory head unit but keep the factory subwoofer and speakers (they will be replaced at a later date.) I can not find a wiring harness that will fit the truck. I checked the wiring diagram and the speakers are wired directly to the head unit. The subwoofer has an amp. Does anyone know what harness will fit?

well I mean you dont always need a wiring harness, if yours is hard wired you can just wire it right up to your new unit. Only thing is none of the wires will be labeled. Just find a good wiring diagram and crimp away.

I was trying to avoid cutting up the factory wiring. If I have to sell one day I will probably put the factory head unit back in. I think I found the correct harnesses, you have to buy them separately, they do not come as a package.

They look like they will work, but I'm not 100% I'll pick them up and post the results.
