hey was wondering if any of you guys have an aftermarket tire pressure monitor. also which brands you have and how you like them. should i get a replacement valve type, a valve stem cap kind or a strap type.

i have a good one it is about 5 bucks and duno wut brand but it came from walmart you push it on your valve stem and it pushes out a shaft to tell you wut the pressure of your tires are. haha. why do you want to get lazier?

for my girlfriends car. if it requires unscrewing anything they dont know how to do it.

those color valve caps are garbage, i work at a tire company and we see cars come in with those all day long and show green and say 32psi when they are really at like 20.

if you do decide to go with an aftermarket tpms system, do the stem replacement type. if you do the strap ones like ford does, the "straps" or sensors can get broken if you have your tires serived and the person doing the work isnt aware of the sensors inside.

ive had issues with the colored caps as well.
