They are Ranger-based too, how come there is no section for them? I've never had one, but a friend did: a '89 Cargo w/ Manual trans.

They aren't as popular, have a lot of unique parts, and don't really share any body panels with the rest of the vehicles.

They are the red-headed step-child of the RBV family.

I know, from what I can see, the only thing they have in common with Rangers/ Bronco 2's and Exploders are the engines and transmissions. But GM's Astro/Blazer/S-10 did share dashboards and Instrument clusters.

there used to be an aerostar section on TRS years ago.... i dont remember exactly when it went away but i think it was when there were server issues and we had to start from scratch. it would be kinda neat to see one again though, i'd rock an aerostar if i found the right one!

And....who gives a flying F**K about that crap van???

if i could find one that didnt have the body rotted away with a manual trans, id consider one. ive only ever seen 2 with the manual trans though, and many, many with rust. i do have areostar spec drums on the rear of my ranger though.

whats the difference between the two?

Lmao!

the areostar drums are heavier and have finns which dissapate heat, i'll go look for a pic i have that shows the two drums side by side. no real improvement in braking performance, but does resist fade and warpage alot better than the standard ranger drums. on edit: pics, the bigger drum is the areostar spec drum, the smaller-looking one is the stock ranger drum, both have the same inside diamater. approx $50 per drum at autozone.
