I have a 1986 Bronco II 2.9 5spd. I just bought a 1988 Ranger 2.9 5spd. The bronco is all stock but the ranger has a 6'' lift with 35's. So i'm going to use the bronco as a parts car. Because the truck isn't in that great of shape. My question is can you swap rear leafs. The one on the truck is broken. They seem to measure up but i'm thinking there may be a load rating difference between the two. And also with that size lift does the drive shaft need to be altered? Keep in mind that I don't plan on doing any extreme offroading. For the fact of it costs so dam much when you break stuff. I only have $300 in the truck and think it's a great project truck but I'm also trying not to spend any more money than I have to.

Any knowledge would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
