Getting everything together to re-do the front end of my 1997 Jimmy 4x4.There are a couple of things I could use some advice on.I will need to take the pressure off of the torsion bar. Can someone give me the right way to do this? Next the control arm bushings how hard are they to come out?Should I take it to a shop to press them or do them myself? I dont have any tools to change them myself. How many bushings are in each arm?

Without any tools to do it with you might have a hard time doing it so taking it to a shop might be best. Do you mean no tools at all or just no bushing specific tools?

Sorry. I don't have any tools to change the control arm bushings.I have everything else I need. I have never messed with a torsion bar before so that was the biggest thing. But I am changing the tie rods, ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, and sway bar bushings.Making sure I have everything. But decided after I got the parts to change control arm bushings and right now check for the bushihg for the right price. Just a lillte confuse and it is easy for me parts places keep talking about front and rear bushings. So want to get all the bushings but not get what I dont need.

Thanks
