advice for removing the engine

how is that??

why would that be?

that is a depends. generally i add metal and strapping. this doubles the metal at those points and is much stronger at the fold out.

my core support is much stronger than stock....in all of my rigs. and removable. because they have to be....we roll them over for fun....and smash into trees and undercut rock banks going from challenge to challenge.

the inner panels are very weak regardless. it is just much cheaper to build them the way they are in time labor and money.

and i hit dozens of deer....though my layout is also conducive to that because actual core exposure is no where near stock.
If it's not reinforced properly when it's reinstalled the results won't be pretty.

Thanks for all your advice, I'm going to take my courage in both hands and crawl to detach the box, I'm bad at welding so I prefer not to remove the support. To lift the engine I have a chain hoist

Since I couldn't find an American 2.9, I changed it to a European 2.9 like in the attached photos. It's a little different but the block is the same. It's a little more complicated but not too much. I'll tell you how the engine is once it's finished.
