The governor, the oil supply line plug ... does anyone know where/ which hole i need to do this? they have no instructions on there site and it came with none

As I understand it, the 3 pieces in the 716057 kit from AA are just repackaged stock Ford parts. They were used by the factory to convert existing AOD output shafts for use in the early AODE which later became the AODEW / 4R70W.

Since you are using an AA adapter kit that was originally designed for the AOD, you can use the same Ford parts to convert the AA shaft for the AODE / AODEW / 4R70W. Install the pin in the hole in the shaft, slide the sleeve over it and retain with the circlip.

If you can find a Ford manual for a first year AODE (early 90's??), that should show the assembly diagram.

thats what i thought ... but my aa shaft has 2 hole ...

ok got it figered out ... hard to see how it would go till it was in ... then easy to see
