I just got a 2010 Sport ext cab Ranger and like all my trucks it will not stay stock for long. Question is this. Would headers be a wise second after a air intake kit? I did this to my 5.4 on my superduty and it helped. I like JBA headers and found only 2008 the latest year. Could it work for my 2010?

I wouldnt expect too much if any performance gains with any of those really. The air intake wont do anything but make noise. Given the price of headers, I would say pass on them, for now anyway.

thank for the advise. Then how about cat back exhaust? I know some engines take well with header and some it doesn't make a differance. This is my first 4.0L I had 2.3L in the last two rangers and left them stock and used gearing to gain acceleration but lost some MPG. Switching out 3.73 for 4.10 gearing whiched helped around town.
