Ac plug...

is this the plug that has to be rewired on a 2000 ranger using a 2000 explorer charging harness?
I figure I could just swap he connectors. Now what I dont get is there is two wires for the ac high pressure switch that has to be done differently. I cannot for the life of me comprehend what has to be done here..
One on the right is the ranger side.. the oic on the left is the ac plug I cut off of.a.junk harness(2000 explorer)
