AC/Heater Problems

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger. About a year ago I started having a problem with my heater fan and the air bag light. The fuse keeps blowing and I can't figure out why. The fan quits working and the air bag light stays on all the time. All of this started happening after there was a recall on my truck for a control harness. Does anyone know what the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated.
