AC compressor won't disengage

So I have an interesting issue. After all the help a few weeks ago getting my AC back together and working, I've been enjoying cold air. Unfortunately, I've discovered an issue. The AC compressor/clutch stays engaged even when the dash controls are off. It kicks in as soon as the truck starts and doesn't disengage. The only way I can disengage the AC is to unplug the 2-wire lead on the compressor and the clutch kicks out immediately. The push-knob for ac turns the indicator on/off, but doesn't seem to affect the compressor at all.

I'm thinking wiring short, bad controller, bad pressure switch?

I would be looking at a short to power.

I would start by seeing if the clutch stays engaged with the key off. Then I would start going back through the AC wiring and unplugging things until the clutch kicks off.

Probably your most likely culprit is a stuck relay.
