AC clutch problem?

for some reason even when the ac in my truck is off the ac clutch kicks on and off. is the relay bad? or can i just pull the relay out and it will stop? its getting annoying

Its supposed to turn on when the HVAC controls are on certain settings, such as defrost. It removes moisture from the air and helps it work more effectively. Perfectly normal.
