I have a 1989 4x4 bronco II , auto, with a manual shift transfer case. I am trying to gather information to convert to manual trans . The weak a4ld trans isnt worth paying 1400 to rebuild. I see that I can convert to a manual trans if I use a fm146 5 spd or a m5od ?. Can I use the pedal system from a ranger of the same year ? what about a two wheel drive ranger? hydraulic clutch? shifter linkage? any Information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. This is my D.D. and badly needed. I an assuming I can use my same drive shafts. although I am going to be changing the rear.
