ive asked before but never got an answer, im getting ready to do the swap with either a fm145 or 146, whichever i can get ahold of. and im wondering about a crank spacer, ive seen them online at oriellys web site and was wondering do i need one or not?

You won't need a crank spacer. If you get your hands on a 145 you will need a longer drive shaft.

You will need to move the trans mount and crossmember up to the front holes too.

The crank spacer is only for automatic flexplates and if you have an A4LD, you already have one and will just remove it.

If you need any parts for this - I may have them - I got most everything I needed because I was planning on putting a manual in my B2 but have decided to stick with the auto. So I have a good clutch, flywheels, pedals, computers, etc.

Edit - regarding the crank spacer - DO NOT buy one from Ford or the parts stores! They are CRAP and break apart over time. Sonnax sells a billet version that is 100% bitchin.

well i got a xploder driveshaft im getting modded so it wont really matter anyways. ive got a pending buy on most of the stuff i need, but if it dont work out shran...how much do u want for your pedal assembly, master, reservoir, and lines?
