My tranny is leaking from around the shift shaft where it enters the transmission. Is this a small seal or is it just an O ring on the shaft?

It's an actual seal. You will ned to drop the pan and the valvebody to get the shaft out.

Thanks Brett....I will try replacing it this weekend. I hate to drop the pan again as I had a hell of a time getting it to seal the last time but I cant stand a leaking tranny
