hey guys, i got an 87 bronco ii, 4x4, with the a4ld.i had this one rebuilt 8 months ago. lately its been pucking the oil from the vent tube, its not overfilled, oil looks clean, but it puckes a lot.then a replace the lost oil and works fine, until i drive it loaded or for a long period, it starts pucking and misshifting/slipping.i let it cool and replace the oil and works fine.whats wrong with it? can it be a clogged filter? modulator? or i just need a new one?:icon_confused: thanks for your help

I'll guess you need better heat control. Invest in an aftermarket oil cooler and put it inline after the stock one. Bare in mind I don't know much about transmissions, this is info I've picked up reading.
Good luck,

Richard
