so i got the rear springs installed, they're 4" lift springs for a half ton dodge with two leafs removed. they're just a few inches longer than stock, but the center bolt is offset a little different. They flex amazingly great and lift the rear to about 6 -7" Got rid of the stacked blocks and lengthened my wheelbase by over 2". Also using the rancho dodge length shocks. Really happy with this setup! So That's all ready for when my rear amc 20 axle comes back to me on sunday with the 4.88 gears installed. so i can set the pinion angle and weld the perches on and measure for the driveline. Hopeing to wrap that end up this next week and start enjoying 4.88's before i get to the front end work.
got the gears for the front dana 44( still need to get a carrier and master install kit) also got the weld on 4 link mounts and the coilover mounts, just lacking the Coilovers now! i've got a lift kit from the front of the half ton dodge too, i'm going to use some of the brackets with the Johnny joints on the frame side. and farm 3 point top link hiems on the axle side for now, (i'll upgrade them to Johnny's as they wear and get noisy/slop, or as soon as i can) I'm going to cut and use the left hand threaded sides off of the tractor 3 link for now Gotta do it in steps cause they're not too cheap. thanks for checking this out!
